Heelers, Cattle Dogs, etc. in Texas

There is absolutely no consensus on this dog breed. It doesn't matter, but it is just interesting to me.

Regardless, my dog is clearly a herding dog, as he herds people of all ages, and "heeler" as his favorite behavior is literally nipping at my heels and back of my shoes. I will ask Rabbit the dog which breed or mix he self-identifies as today.
